Vegan MOFO Post #2:

HOW TO SURVIVE (GLUTEN-FREE, VEGAN) BREAKFAST ON A REZ MEAL PLAN

I already informed you about my residence caf experience yesterday (“EGG WHITES, HONEY”), so I think you are grasping the idea that eating vegan (and gluten-free whenever possible) (like a king) on rez can be tough. (So am I) So, today I decided to not eat a little bowl of frozen/ canned fruit and a tasteless peach and GET CREATIVE. :D Thus, step-by-step, I present to you….  HOW-TO MAKE A SOLID, DELICIOUS GLUTEN-FREE AND VEGAN BREAKFAST … ON A RESICENCE MEAL PLAN.

UH.

Step 1: Skip out on the cardboard gluten-free Rice Crispies and go out and buy some NUTRITIOUS cereal. (I recommend Nature’s Path Organic, Vegan & GF Crunchy Maple Sunrise)

Step 2: Next comes your choice of vegan milk, that you’re most likely going to have to go out and buy as well. (I recommend Almond Bliss Sweetened Chocolate & Unsweetened Coconut)

Step 3: While you’re out, purchase some energy-dense toppings for your cereal. (I recommend Sha-sha’s Buckwheat Snacks)

Step 4: USE YOUR MEAL PLAN CARD SOMEHOW. Go to the caf with a BIG A$$ (BPA-free) Tupperware container and stock up on them berries!

Step 5: Look both ways.

Step 6: Grab a re-usable spoon on the way out of the caf ;)

Step 7: While you’re speed walking out of the caf with a sly smirk on your face, pick up a copy of your school newspaper.

Step 7: Freeze/ refrigerate your berries in your mini fridge you bought off Kijiji.

Step 8: Mix everything in your Tupperware container by you’re window.

Step9:  EAT YOUR BEAUTIFUL BREAKFAST WHILE READIN THE BEAUTIFUL ARTICLES IN YOUR BEAUTIFUL SCHOOL PAPER!!!

Step 10: Have a beautiful day.
